AREA SALES REPRESENTATIVE
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:
- 3-5 years’ experience in international Agri-input product, especially seed business, import and export in West African countries
- Experience in variety developing, marketing and sales in Ivory Coast and neighbor countries
- To have knowledge in following industries is a plus: fertilizer, agrichemicals
- To have clients and farmers’ network
- University graduate from Agriculture or related major
- Able to report the market analysis, field trials, the sectors updates
- Self management, planning and organization skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and sales oriented
- Excellent command of English is a must besides French native speaking
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- No obstacle to travel. Being able to travel neighbor countries would be a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gathering intelligence about prospects to inform sales and development strategy for taking best position our products seed varieties to meet their needs
- Developing, managing and coordinating the direct customers of the country (local resellers, operators, associations)
- Development and implementation a country action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field
- Organization of demonstration experiments and field days with local partners
- Development of product and marketing activities
- Country seed market analyzing for domestic and international opportunities
- Setting and meeting weekly, monthly, and annual goals
- Preparing and presenting professional, concise, accurate reports and other documentation as required for executive-level presentations
- Close relationship with government agencies and related organizations
